baked fries Recipes

This is one of my favorite snacks. It is considerably more healthy than either fast food fries or deep fried fries, and tastes so much better. So pull out your recipe books, let’s get started!

Ingredient:
  • Potatoes (I prefer red skinned potatoes, but any fresh potato works)
  • Coconut oil
  • Baking dish
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Thyme or Rosemary
  • Cayenne pepper

Preparation:
  • Cut the potatoes into even slices and place them into the bakeware.
  • Drizzle the oil on the slices in a complete and even manner.
  • Add spices to taste. Don’t over do it, these are some strong spices. Use them to season.
  • Bake them in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. After this first 30 minutes, move them around. Try to get the top ones to the bottom and the bottom ones to the top.
  • Bake them for 20 minutes more, and repeat moving them.
  • Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Stir them one final time before serving, then enjoy.
